Searching for the perfect wave with Loewe

The constant search for the perfect wave, a very entertaining adventure that always brings me a smile. Sometimes it goes well, sometimes not so much but the desire remains as intense. Surely you are wondering what this means … it means spending hours in front of the computer looking at the wave forecasts, the winds, the wave directions … after that, it’s time to bet, wake up early, and go check the conditions.

Many times we wake up at night and arrive at the spots when it just dawns.  Cold, wind, rain … are factors that accompany us in winter, which is when there are better wave conditions.  Seen from the outside and without knowing much about what surfing is about, it may seem crazy but for us, it has all the sense in the world and we don’t even stop to think.  We let ourselves be carried away by the sea, by the waves … actually surfing is special for this reason.

It is an indescribable feeling that makes me feel full every time I look at the horizon and see the intense blue of the ocean. It is a privilege to find a passion, and even more to be able to live it every day!

I think that thanks to this deep attraction for surfing I have allowed me to dedicate so many hours in all kinds of conditions and thus achieve achievements at the international level in competition. When this story began I never imagined that 15 years later I would have discovered so much world, surfed the best waves on the planet, and compete with my idols.

Something that requires me this path is to be prepared for any adversity from the material that allows me to connect with this passion of the best way, such as my surfboard, to the most adapted backpack for this adventure by the hand of Loewe. It is also made with recycled fabrics and materials which gives me a lot as a person and as a surfer being aware of the great challenge we have to protect our planet and having had the luck to visit wonderful landscapes.
